Rezolution™ Performs Beyond Expectations

Summer 2009 saw the first Rezolution™ prototypes make a trek to the Northwest. In an effort to see how the Rezolution™ would perform, 3 shooters using the Zimmerman Arms pre-production Rezolutions entered into an Appleseed Shoot in Castle Rock, Washington. This particular Appleseed Shoot takes place with rimfire weapons, and is part of a nationwide program designed to teach proper shooting techniques resulting in increased shooter proficiency and accuracy. A badge of honor that many shooters strive for in these shoots is to earn their Rifleman patch. To earn the Rifleman patch, a shooter must  score a 210 or higher on the Army Qualification Test. The shooter and his rifle must be up to the task. Dwain Zimmerman, of Zimmerman Arms, earned his Rifleman patch on his first attempt and in his first ever Appleseed shoot using a pre-production Rezolution™ 21". Our congratulations go out to Dwain on this remarkable achievement.

I could list all the features that make the Rezolution™ Precision Elite gun so special, but a trip to the website can do that better.  Instead I would like to tell you about the amazing performance of the Precision Elite.  Summer 2009 brought Michael Zimmerman, creator of the Rezolution, to the northwest.  Multiple trips out to Grandpa Popper's farm gave us all a chance to put some rounds through the different models.  This particular Precision Elite was the Magpul PRS stock version and had been accessorized with a Leupold 6.5-20x40mm scope and bottom rail mounted Versa-Pod.  It wasn't long before the challenge was on to see just how well this thing could perform.  Shooting golf balls was no longer a challenge at the family shoot. This rifle really raised the bar.  Pushing each other to do better than the previous, the targets got progressively smaller.  A spent .22 slug was dug out of the dirt and tied to a twig by a piece of dental floss.  The jaws dropped and smiles got broader when one shooter shot it completely off the string.   Everyone was in awe of how accurate this gun was. We took it a step further and by the end of the shoot, the challenge was to break the dental floss at 35 yards using this amazing rifle.
